The Olive Tree Caf? at Ashtead Park Garden Centre is delighted to have won The Secret Tea Society?s ?Golden Scone Award? for 2014.
The Society which has 400 members visit Tea Rooms and Coffee Houses in the London and Surrey area during the year.? Their annual awards event this year was held at Byfleet Manor home to the filming of Downton Abbey.? Claire Worrell ? founder of The Secret Tea Society presented the Certificate to Head Chef/Manager Woody Prashad and Front of House Manager Caroline Coutts-Prashad in front of delighted staff and customers.
?The scones at The Olive Tree Caf? are fast becoming a ?must have?, with customers travelling distances especially to sample them? said Caroline.? Claire Worrell, Founder of The Secret Tea Society agreed saying ?your scones are amazing?.
Their members will be joining forces with us here at Ashtead Park Garden Centre on Saturday 21st June for a ?Fasten Your Fascinators? Blooming Great Tea Party in aid of Marie Curie.
