Well-known practical horticulturist and author Andy McIndoe has teamed up with Vitax to become its gardening expert for the new Vitax Garden World website.

Launched this autumn, Vitax Garden World will contain a host of information for the experienced and knowledgeable gardener, with the aim of driving them into local garden centres to purchase Vitax products.

Working alongside Vitax, Andy will be providing web visitors with information on specific projects, seasonal growing information and essential advice on everyday gardening issues.

Andy said: ?Vitax is a trusted brand and known for formulating products that work.? The new Vitax Garden World website provides enthusiastic growers with crucial information at the touch of a button and I am thrilled to working with them.”

?There is a wealth of information available on the internet but Vitax?s new website combines gardening knowledge matched to specific products to get the best results.? Over the coming months, I will be developing a range of easy-to-follow projects as well as advice on both simple and complex issues.?

With over 40 years? experience, Andy has been responsible for designing 25 Gold Medal exhibits at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and lectures to horticultural groups and societies.

A regular on BBC local radio, Andy was a natural choice to become Vitax Garden World?s gardening specialist as Daniel Wilkinson, Vitax?s managing director, explained: ?Vitax?s success is based on developing products that work and are trusted.

?As both a user of our product range and well-respected writer, Andy has an authority that appeals to both professionals and amateurs, which makes him the perfect advisor for Vitax Garden World.

?Andy?s knowledge will bring another dimension to the website by providing practical information on seasonal projects and personal insights on how to bring gardens to life.? We are delighted to have him on board,? said Daniel.
