Kingsbury Garden Centre, Tamworth, was targeted by arsonists on April 14, destroying a large quantity of stock and equipment.
The arson took place between 6.30pm and 8.30pm on Tuesday April 14 at the Tamworth site.
Simon Ruse, son of owner Paul, told the Tamworth Herald: ?One of the lads who works for us called and informed us that there was a fire on the site.
?The fire brigade had been there for a good 30 minutes trying to put the fire out. A whole load of our stock had gone up in smoke.
?We’re now into triple figures for incidents and break-ins since we opened in the mid-80s.
“We’re gutted that this has happened and it is a huge financial blow to the centre because none of the stock destroyed was insured.
?The damage is not going to stop day-to-day business but it will take at least a couple of weeks to sort out.
“We were lucky that someone driving past saw the flames and called the fire brigade.”
A spokesman for Warwickshire Police added: “Offenders are believed to have set fire to vegetation and garden sheds on display within an outdoor fenced off area.
“Nobody was injured during the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting incident 316 of April 14.”
