Awards announced at BBC Gardeners? World Live 2015

BBC Gardeners? World Live are delighted to announce that the Show Gardens and Beautiful Borders have received 7 Gold Medals plus 3 Silver Gilt, 5 Silver and 3 Bronze Medals.

Paul Harris, finalist in BBC2s Great Chelsea Garden Challenge, has attained a Gold Medal for his ?First Home? garden in the brand new Lifestyle Garden category. Neil Sutcliffe also gained a Gold Medal for his ?Sociability? Lifestyle Garden.

In the Metamorphosis Garden category Bridget Robinson & Sid Stratton achieved a Gold Medal for their garden ?Slow Burn?, as well as Lucinda Parish for her ?Flow Garden?.

Special awards were presented at the Press Preview on Wednesday afternoon, shortly after the medals had been announced.

  • Best Metamorphosis Garden: Neil Sutcliffe
  • Best Lifestyle Garden: Lucinda Parish
  • Best Beautiful Border: Kareena Gardiner

In addition to the judged Show Gardens, this year sees feature gardens including one from Gold-Medal winning garden designer Adam Frost as well as the Association of Professional Landscapers. Both of these feature gardens have been designed specifically to help visitors make informed choices for their own gardens.

Right Plant Right Place: Adam Frost and Jody Lidgard
From dry shade to boggy areas, this educational feature will help you identify the perfect plants for some of the less perfect garden situations. As a collaboration between Gold Medal winning garden designer Adam Frost and landscaper Jody Lidgard, this is feature garden brings together expert horticulture and an inspiring space.
