Berry good start to Blenheim Palace Flower Show

The Queen of British baking, Mary Berry, spoke of her ?sheer pleasure? as she opened the Blenheim Palace Flower Show on Friday.
While Mary Berry?s interest in cooking led her to a career as one of the nation?s favourite cookery writers and broadcasters, she has a passion for growing her own.
While at the show she did two Q&A sessions in the show theatre, signed books for fans and chatted to visitors and exhibitors enjoying the sunshine.
She opened the show from the Victory Pavilion in front of hundreds of gardening enthusiasts, telling them: ?If I wasn?t a cook I would certainly be a gardener. What a joy to be here.?
She added: ?For me it is such a treat to come to a show with the backdrop of Blenheim Palace, how wonderful? And unlike Chelsea, you can buy! When you have enjoyed the show today, don?t forget to tell all your friends that they can come along on Saturday and Sunday too. It?s a sheer pleasure to be here.?
