BHETA EXPORT FORUM TO GENERATE BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES

The Export Forum announced by the British Home Enhancement Trade Association (BHETA) as part of its 2014 Export Initiative will include live leads for at least some of the BHETA members attending, according to home enhancement sector director, Will Jones.? The event which takes place on Thursday 4th September is being run jointly with trade challenge partner, the UKT&I.? Will explained, ?The UKT&I will be undertaking research in advance on the key product sectors requested by attendees, potentially uncovering specific opportunities for the companies who have supplied target market details.?

Home improvement sector director, Peter Stone explained, ?The BHETA Export Forum will be attended by Regional Director of UKT&I, Paul Noon, and three UKT&I International Trade Advisors.? As well as featuring case studies from three exporting companies and a presentation by BHETA associate member AFEX on Foreign Exchange, the event will include breakout sessions exploring particular areas of potential. ??All the attending companies will be sent a questionnaire before the event asking them their level of export involvement, their existing and target export markets and their core product sector.? The International Trade Advisors facilitating the sessions will?then carry out investigative work based on the information supplied and this may well lead to real time sales leads for the delegates.?

The BHETA Export Forum is equally relevant for export novices, operators with limited experience looking to expand or longstanding exporters looking to develop additional markets.? The event takes place at Austin Court, 80 Cambridge Street, Birmingham B1 2NP to allow for the very high numbers of delegates expected.

BHETA?s home enhancement sector director, Will Jones explained, ?This Forum signals the start of a concerted Export Initiative from BHETA as Trade Challenge Partners of the UKT&I.? The aim is to follow up this initial session with further workshops, so I would encourage all members to ?get in at the beginning? by attending on September 4th.? Bookings are already coming in quickly so it is important to get on board soon.?
