BHETA and GIMA run ?Meet The Buyer? event with Wyevale

DIY, garden and housewares companies interested in trading with Wyevale Garden Centres will get a fantastic opportunity to start a productive relationship on November 12th when BHETA and GIMA jointly run a Meet The Buyer event with the leading UK garden centre group.? For BHETA this will be the latest in what has become a very successful series of buyer networking events, a concept which is also enjoyed by GIMA members under the name ?Buyer Connect?.

Open to both BHETA and GIMA members, this event is particularly targeted at potential new suppliers to Wyevale and is not therefore generally open to existing ones.? The only exception to this is that current suppliers of home products may present ideas to the gardening buyer and vice versa. ?Wyevale is keen to see new and innovative products, regardless of the size of the supplying company, so niche players are just as welcome as larger and more established companies.? Buyers from all the main categories will be participating ? ie horticulture, gardening and home – and a maximum of two people from each supplier can attend.

The Wyevale ?Meet The Buyer? day takes place at The Holiday Inn (Brentford Lock), Commerce Road, Brentford, Middlesex and the companies selected to attend by Wyevale will be allocated 20 minute appointments with the relevant buyer.? DIY and garden sector director, Peter Stone said, ?As Wyevale has 140 garden centres across the UK we anticipate this as being a very popular event and I advise interested parties to book early.?

GIMA director, Vicky Nuttall added, ?Having the chance to present to the relevant buyer at Wyevale is a brilliant opportunity for members of both GIMA and BHETA so it?s great that both organisations are working together to ensure the maximum number of suppliers can benefit.?

To keep things simple, the administration of this event is being dealt with by BHETA.? ?To apply for an appointment, contact Peter Stone (ps@bheta.co.uk) or Sally Hawkins (sh@bheta.co.uk) to obtain an application form, outline brief details of the proposed product, the contacts for the day and then return the form by 17th October.? To offset the cost of the event there will be a small charge for attending companies, discounted to ?95 + VAT for BHETA and GIMA members.
