Botany Bay Nurseries offering free delivery for those self-isolating

Botany Bay Nurseries, a garden centre in Worcestershire, is offering free delivery to customers who are self-isolating.

Kind-hearted staff at Botany Bay Nurseries, Garden Centre & Cafe decided to scrap delivery charges in the current crisis.

Plants, feed, compost, outdoor furniture, garden equipment, chemicals, stoneware and more are being dropped at the doorsteps of customers who live in Redditch, Alcester, Inkberrow, Studley and Feckenham.

Garden centre director Jamie Ratcliffe said: “We noticed that a lot of our elderly customers have begun to self-isolate.

“We want to make sure they stay healthy while at home.

“Gardening is a great distraction and a perfect way to stay active and productive and we’ve had a great response so far.”
