Bradstone at RHS Flower Show Tatton Park

Bradstone supported two show gardens at this year?s RHS Flower Show Tatton Park (22-26 July).

Paul Hervey-Brookes: Perennial Legacy Garden

Award-winning designer and Bradstone partner, Paul Hervey-Brookes, used a selection of Bradstone paving, roofing tiles and decorative stones to create his Perennial Legacy Garden which won the Best Show Garden award and an RHS Gold medal at this year?s show.

Paul?s garden was a tribute to Perennial, the UK charity dedicated to helping horticulturists in times of need. ?His design was inspired by the traditional country estates of old, with a focus on the classic perennials you would find in today?s country house gardens.

With this in mind, Paul chose Bradstone?s Aged Riven paving in York Brown for the hard landscaping element of his design. ?Designed to bring old and new together in perfect harmony, the Aged Riven range has a distinctive weathered profile, giving the paving a traditional and timeworn appearance.

For the perfect finishing touches, Cotswold roofing tiles in Weathered Buff brought a rustic and weather-worn appeal to the garden, whilst 20mm decorative stones in Trent Pink added ?wow? factor.

Paul Hervey-Brookes has produced many garden design packs exclusively for Bradstone. ?The Bradstone Design packs are available to download for free from www.bradstone.com and contain designs on a particular theme, with paving laying patterns, planting tips and technical advice to help homeowners start planning the garden of their dreams.

Living Spaces & MJM Landscape: The Cloud 9 Kitchen Garden

Designer Michael McGarr from Living Spaces worked with Bradstone Assured installer MJM Landscape to produce The Cloud 9 Kitchen Garden, a Silver medal-awarded contemporary garden that?s ideal for cooking and entertaining in a small outdoor space.

Taking inspiration from Mexican architect, Luis Barrag?n, and the planting of William Robinson, the team selected Bradstone?s Mode Textured porcelain paving in Shell. ?Engineered to take the clean, tiled lines of a home?s interiors to the outdoors, Mode?s anti-slip finish and stain-resistant properties made it the perfect choice for an outdoor kitchen setting.

Toby Stuart-Jervis, Commercial Director for Bradstone, says: ?The vibrant RHS Flower Show Tatton Park is a fantastic opportunity for us to partner with exceptional designers such as Paul and Michael. ?With their two garden designs, visitors will see for themselves the versatility of our range and will take home lots of inspiration for how to invest in their own garden to achieve something they?ve always wanted for their outside space.?
