Bradstone in ?A Design Journey? at BBC Gardeners? World Live

Metamorphosis ?A Design Journey? is a show garden competition, unique to BBC Gardeners’ World Live (11-14 June 2015) which challenges four chosen designers to be as innovative as possible within the boundaries of a set list of materials supplied by Bradstone.

Organisers were delighted that Bradstone has continued to support the competition, supplying top quality, inspirational paving, walling, coping and decorative aggregates.

Built to a realistic budget, these stunning gardens were not only full of inspiring ideas but were also built with average back garden plots in mind. ?For this reason, Bradstone supplied a range of materials that homeowners can easily incorporate within their own gardens for a stylish look.

Natural Porphyry Paving and Setts in a Flamed Finish

The Metamorphosis designers were given the beautiful and varied colours and hues of Bradstone?s Natural Porphyry to help bring added visual interest to their garden designs. ?The delightful Indian stone calls upon a wonderfully distinctive range of purples, pinks and reds and combines aesthetic appeal with exceptional durability. ?Each garden design featured Natural Porphyry flags as well as the easy to lay setts on a netting base.

Natural Sandstone Walling & Coping in Fossil Buff and Modac

Laced with delicate shade variations, Natural Sandstone walling was the perfect addition for the show team to provide a truly interesting vertical feature to their gardens.

Harvest Gold Aggregate & Scottish Cobbles

The use of decorative stone can fundamentally transform the appearance of a garden. ?Bradstone?s Harvest Gold 20mm aggregate and 50-80mm Scottish Cobbles was surely the cherry on the cake, adding a real ?wow? factor around the designers? various features, borders and pathways.

Gold at BBC Gardeners? World Live

Metamorphosis garden. ?The garden was built by Bradstone Assured landscaper Big Fish Landscapes who were awarded ?Best Newcomer? at the first Bradstone Assured Awards in 24 January 2014.
