Bradstone part of RHS Chelsea?s record-breaking Hillier team

Bradstone was proud to have played a part in Hillier Nurseries & Garden Centres? exhibit for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show this year, with the Hillier team smashing the Guinness World Record by securing an unrivalled 70th consecutive Chelsea Gold medal.

Vying for two categories ? ?Floral Continents? and ?Best of British? ? Hillier?s ?Crossing Continents? exhibit sat at the epicentre of Chelsea?s Great Pavilion and showcased some of the classic plants collected from around the world that are now highlights within British gardens.

?Crossing Continents? also featured Bradstone?s latest Mode porcelain paving collection. ?Mode, the epitome of contemporary style, is available in 20mm thick pavers in two stunning finishes, each with four attractive shades.

Fired at up to 1,400?C, these porcelain pavers boast an incredible inherent strength and exceptional durability. ?This, combined with the fine textured and anti-slip finish, makes Mode paving a viable, premium alternative to both concrete and natural stone.

Hillier used Mode in Dark Grey and Silver Grey shades with a profiled finish containing mica crystals for eye-catching appeal, taking cutting-edge style and modern sophistication to a new level.

In addition, the exhibit featured Bradstone?s Rustic Rope Top edging in Old Granite. ?Its traditional textured finish and blended shades provided the ultimate elegant edging to the gravel pathway within Hillier?s English-style rose and lavender garden.

Toby Stuart-Jervis, Commercial Director for Bradstone, comments: ?We?re absolutely delighted for the Hillier team. ?Securing that 70th consecutive Gold medal is testament to the passion, hard work and innovation they bring to each year?s show.

?Knowing how crucial it was for them to again strike gold, it was imperative we chose a paver in keeping with the aspirational design of Hillier?s garden ? and Mode is at the very top of its class.?
