British Garden Centres is pledging 50p from each Christmas tree purchase towards delivering more than £25k worth of bird care products to children’s hospices throughout the UK.

More than 26,000 Nordmann trees have been available across all 58 British Garden Centres and 50p from every fresh-cut Christmas tree sale goes towards making Christmas a little better for the life limited children cared for at the hospices.

The bird care present includes bird food and feeders, a bird table and even a bird bath. This will be delivered to 52 children’s hospices in the UK just before Christmas.

Amy Stubbs of British Garden Centres says: “Real Christmas trees are a staple of Christmas at British Garden Centres and well-loved. Our wonderful Nordmann trees have been grown close to home within the British Isles.

“I am delighted we are able to support and provide a wonderful present of bird care treats to 52 children’s hospice in the UK this year. We feel that encouraging birds to visit the hospice gardens will bring so much pleasure to the children, their families, and carers. It will be a lovely feature in their gardens and outdoor spaces.”
