Bromsgrove kids to sing for Christmas tree

Local schools have a unique and exciting opportunity to have a freshly cut, low needle drop Christmas tree delivered to their school in the first week of December absolutely free, courtesy of Fresh @ Burcot Garden Centre near Bromsgrove.

The garden centre is asking any local schools who would like a free tree to take part in their ?Sing for your Christmas Tree? event to be held on Saturday, November 30.

All participating schools will be allocated a 15 minute slot to sing a few festive songs and in return the garden centre will give them a fresh Nordman tree (up to 2m high) which they will deliver to the school.

?We thought this would be a bit of fun for the schools and a great way of showcasing some of the amazing talent that the children of Bromsgrove have,? said Clare Hughes, manager at Fresh @ Burcot.

?All the participating schools will have a 15 minute slot to entertain us with their festive songs and all the schools taking part will get a tree. We already have several schools eager to take part but still have a few slots available,? she added.

Any schools interested in taking part should contact either Clare Hughes or Nicci Gow at Fresh @ Burcot Garden Centre on 01527 873470 or email info@burcotgardencentre.co.uk.
