by | Jan 6, 2017 | Community, News | 0 comments

In 2016 Sarah Eberle became the most decorated designer in the history of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show when she received a gold medal with her Hillier in Spring garden that she designed for Hillier Nursery and Garden Centres.

Sarah will be working with Hillier for the 2017 show, and to celebrate the partnership Hillier has announced that Sarah will be attending its wholesaler trade days that are taking place on 7th and 8th February.

The event will start at 9am at the Brentry Nursery Glasshouse with a welcome from Robert Hillier OBE, Hillier?s chairman. This will be followed by a site tour of the Brentry site before moving to the Woodland?s Specimen Nursery for a second tour and a presentation from the head of research and development.

Before lunch guests will be taken to the Sir Harold Hillier Arborteum for talks from guest speakers which will include Sarah Eberle who will be talking about her experiences as a Chelsea Flower Shower designer. After lunch guests will be able to explore the nursery and the displays of key plant products, looking at the trends for the year ahead.

Chris Francis, wholesale and retail director of Hillier, commented; ?Our open days are always a great chance for us to meet with customers and for them to explore the nurseries. We are delighted to be joined by Sarah this year as one of our guest speakers and look forward to hearing her speak about her Chelsea experiences. She might even reveal details about the 2017 design!?

The open days are invitation only, however if you would like to attend the event please contact the sales team on 01794 368733 or email sales@hillier.co.uk.
