Deans Garden Centre raises ?30k for Macmillan

Yorkshire-based Deans Garden Centre has raised ?29,903.70 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Deans Garden Centre chose Macmillan Cancer Support as their 2018 Charity of the Year. Throughout the year, the company held many fundraising activities and donations.
Sarah Child of Macmillan Cancer Support said ?We’re amazed at this wonderful donation. It’s enough to fund a Macmillan nurse for more than six months. It will help cancer patients right here in York and Scarborough, live life.
?Thank you to everyone at Deans for their dedication to raising funds throughout the year. Thanks to their customers for their generosity.?
Laura Dean of Deans said: ?Macmillan has a special place in our employees? and customers? hearts. This is clear from the amount raised.

Dean?s is a family-run garden centre. It’s been serving gardeners in North Yorkshire for more than 50 years.
Macmillan is the UK?s leading cancer supporter charity. It gives personal, one-to-one care and support to thousands of people every day.
