An innovative arts and craft exhibition, part of the Transported project, opens at Springfields Festival Gardens from Friday.
About 90 deckchairs designed by first-time artists from South Holland and Boston will be displayed at the garden centre from July 18 until 28.
The exhibition includes work done at Holbeach Library and the youth centre in Boston Road South, Holbeach, where people were challenged to come up with deckchair artwork, inspired by and celebrating Lincolnshire?s agriculture and food producing heritage.
David Norton, chief executive of Springfields Horticultural Society, said: ?We are really looking forward to welcoming this unique and exciting deckchair exhibition here at Springfields Festival Gardens.
?Having seen examples of the designs at other locations, I am sure that bringing the whole collection together will provide a wonderful opportunity for local people and visitors to see the fantastic creative variety that has been produced by the various artists involved.
?It will be nice to get a ?beside the seaside? feel as well, even though it will be in a summer garden setting a few miles from the coast.?
The exhibition is open daily between 10am and 6pm except Sunday when it is open from 11am till 5pm.
