Daffodil appeal for Marie Curie supported by Findern Garden Centre

A garden centre in Findern is supporting?Marie Curie’s annual Great Daffodil Appeal by donating 10 per cent from the sale of all daffodils to the charity during March.

This is the second year that Findern Garden Centre, a Wyevale garden centre in Burton Road, has supported the appeal, which is the cancer care charity’s biggest annual fundraising campaign.

The appeal, which was first held in 1986, asks people to give a donation and wear a Marie Curie daffodil pin throughout March.

The daffodil pins are available at Findern Garden Centre and all Wyevale garden centres.

The funds raised from the appeal are vital in helping Marie Curie nurses provide much needed free nursing care to people with a terminal illness and vital support for their loved ones, allowing families to spend their final weeks, days or hours with the people and things they love close by.
