Downtown Garden Centre introduces new dinosaur attraction

A new attraction at Downtown Garden Centre is sure to be a hit with youngsters. The Gonerby Moor garden centre has on display a 4.5m long Schleich Tyrannosaurus Rex dinosaur ? the only one in the UK.

Toys buyer Alan Swain said: ?We?re always looking for ways to improve our stores and add a little something extra. When this opportunity came up to take the huge T Rex, we just couldn?t say no.?

Dinosaur activities

There?s also a variety of themed activities ? visitors can win Schleich sets in the ?Name our T Rex? competition, embark on a dinosaur hunt and take part in a ?T Rex selfie? competition.

Downtown Garden Centre is?an independent retailer based in Lincolnshire, with stores throughout the county. Originally founded in 1804, the company has over 200 years of experience and a vast wealth of knowledge.

Between stores, the company sells a wide range of furniture, women?s, men?s and children?s fashion, cookware, electrical appliances, home accessories, toys and even garden furniture and machinery. Plus, all stores have a caf? or restaurant, serving delicious hot and cold drinks as well as hot food and snacks.
