Eco School Joins Ribbon Cut For Fresh New Look Garden Centre

EcoTeam pupils and St. Peter?s Catholic Primary School?s Eco Co-Ordinator, Susan Joy, officially launched the rebranded Haskin?s Snowhill Garden Centre by performing a ribbon cutting ceremony. The garden centre, owned by the successful Haskin?s group since October 2003, has undergone a series of improvements to the main centre and restaurant over the last 12 months and now has the new purple based brand image enjoyed by its three sister centres near Bournemouth, Southampton and Littlehampton.

Lisa Looker, Haskin?s Director of Marketing said: ?Our Snowhill centre has always been popular but this was a great opportunity to refresh the centre with the newer purple branding, however we didn?t realise quite how fantastic it would look. In the summer sun the whole centre looks vibrant and full of colour and more people are making a bee-line to the centre to enhance their garden.?

After the ribbon cut, Centre Manager Darren Baker and Operations Manager Dean Ridley, offered to support St. Peter?s School?s allotment and wildlife gardening projects over the coming months.

?We are very impressed with the school?s approach to being Eco friendly and achieving their Eco-School Green Flag Award, so as a thank you to our young VIPs, we wish to encourage their eco initiatives in any way we can,? said Darren.
