Eraza your slug and snail problem this Summer

Westland Horticulture is urging gardeners to stock up on?Eraza Slug and Snail Killer?this summer, as the warm wet weather has caused numbers to soar.

Already, experts, such as the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) have said that the number of slugs and snails in UK gardens could reach ?plague proportions? as experienced in 2012. The RHS are so worried about the situation, they have even tweeted a warning to gardeners.

With a number of press reports already informing the public about this outbreak, gardeners will be looking to ensure they have the right protection in place.?Westland Horticulture, the company behind the Eraza range, have the perfect solution to help combat this issue.

Eraza Slug and Snail Killer?is a fast acting pelleted bait that is 5 times more effective than standard slug pellets, despite the fact that it uses 50% less active ingredient ? metaldehyde. This is because it contains lots of smaller particles of the ingredient, making it easier for slugs and snails to consume. It is also showerproof, meaning you don?t need to worry about it raining.

The special safety cap allows for perfect dosing and storage safety and the pellets even contain a special animal repellent.

Eraza is best applied to bare soil around flowers, vegetables and fruit and will offer protection to your crops immediately.

Amy Lawrence, Brand Manager for Eraza said: ?The past few weeks have provided perfect conditions for slugs and snails. They thrive during wet weather and we are at a stage in the season when there is plenty of young leafy growth for them to feed on.

?Prevention is better than cure, so set out controls, such as Eraza Slug and Snail Killer before signs of plant damage are seen.?

*Eraza Slug and Snail Killer contains metaldehyde. Use pesticides safely. Always read the label and product information?
