Springwell Nursery, based in Old Ide Lane in Ide, has submitted plans to extend the existing garden centre.

The application to Teignbridge District Council is for a new garden sales area, caf? and restaurant, new warehouse building and a new public car park.

No further details of the scheme are mentioned in documents submitted as part of the application, although a serious of artist impressions and 3D images as to how the new garden centre will look are provided.

Teignbridge District Council planners will determine the fate of the application at a later date.
