Thatcham based company Tenuta Marmorelle has received its 50th Great Taste Award since it started trading in 2014. The family-owned small business, which is an Italian fine food wholesaler, received notification of its latest awards earlier this month.

This year’s award-winning products include date and almond panforte, gluten free penne pasta and pistachio panettone. In addition to a one-star Great Taste award, their Pinsa-style pizza base was also given the accolade of being an Editor’s Choice in the recent Fine Food Show held in Harrogate.

Sales Director Nick Carlucci commented:

‘We are so proud to have received our 50th Great Taste award this year. Since we began our business in 2014 we have received recognition every year but to reach 50 awards is testament to both our suppliers for their wonderful products and our team who have sourced the very best Italian food items over the years. Awards from the Great Taste scheme are highly respected seals of approval– quite simply it’s the best way to get honest, straightforward and impartial feedback. Anybody buying an item with a Great Taste award will not be disappointed’.

Tenuta Marmorelle are constantly adding to their product list.  Currently with more than 400 products they remain dedicated to sourcing and importing the very best Italian food items.  In addition to supplying Farm shops, Food halls, Delicatessens and Restaurants they also have an online store enabling them to ship directly to members of the public. Great Taste is the world’s largest and most trusted food and drink accreditation scheme, organised by the Guild of Fine Foods.
