Fargro relocates to new site

Horticultural distributor Fargro has completed its relocation to its new state-of-the-art headquarters near Arundel, West Sussex.

The new 11.5 acre site is home to a modern purpose-built warehouse and office complex, close to the company?s former premises in Littlehampton.

Managing director of Fargro, Jim McAlpine, said: ?We are very excited to expand to a new, larger modern facility. The move will improve our customer service and support our continued growth and development of new products. This is a significant investment from our shareholders in supporting the ongoing success of the business. There is an increasing demand for our bespoke distribution services from growers and these facilities will allow us to meet that demand.

?We were able to retain our existing staff which was crucial in keeping the business on a strong footing.?

Fargro Ltd reports an increase in turnover over the past six years from ?15m to ?20m. The business is also continuing to expand its sales and services into Europe.
