ONE OF the UK?s largest horticultural design and print companies has this month (August, 2013) pledged to donate label printing support to Garden Re-Leaf.
Floramedia is helping the third Garden Re-Leaf Day in March 2014 by printing promotional labels, which will give nurseries and growers the opportunity to participate in fundraising on the day.
Nick Mathias, Managing Director of Floramedia, which is based in Colchester, explained: ?We are delighted to be involved in the initiative. We think Garden Re-Leaf Day is a brilliant idea and encourages the whole horticultural industry to come together and raise money for Greenfingers and its other designated charities.
?It also helps garden retailers and manufacturers kick start the spring gardening season by engaging gardeners of all ages and experience.
?Representatives from Garden Re-Leaf will be joining us on our stand at the Four Oaks Trade Show in Macclesfield on September 3 and 4 to meet growers and encourage them to join in with the initiative too.?
As well as creating awareness of gardening, one of the main aims of Garden Re-Leaf Day is to raise money for Greenfingers. In March 2013 the fundraising day?raised??61,379 for the charity.
Greenfingers?was launched in November 1998 by a group of volunteers drawn from all sectors of the gardening industry.

Boyd Douglas-Davies, Garden Re-Leaf?s founder, said: ?It?s great that Floramedia is adding its support to Garden Re-Leaf. With their help we?re planning a great promotion that will help growers and garden centres to sell more stock throughout March 2014.?
