Frosts welcomes James Wong and Chris Collins

James Wong and Chris Collins, two very well respected professionals in the world of horticulture, are coming to Frosts Garden Centre at Woburn Sands for the Frosts Gardening Day on Saturday 22 March.

James Wong, famous garden designer and presenter, will be doing a book signing as well as hosting talks and taking part in question and answer sessions. Best known for his role on BBC?s ?Countryfile? and as a panellist on Radio 4?s ?Gardeners? Question Time?, James has a light-hearted approach to horticulture with the aim of making it exciting.

Blue Peter Gardener, Chris Collins, will be hosting children?s workshops throughout the day, helping them to create their very own seed pot which they can take home and nurture. As well as his role on ?Blue Peter?, Chris has been involved with numerable prestigious gardening events and programmes such as ?The Chelsea Flower Show? and judging ?Young Gardener of the Year?.

The event is free and will comprise two talks with demonstrations, 10-11am and 2-3pm, each followed by a 30 minute questions and answer sessions where guests can ask James whatever they like. There will be two book signings throughout the day; 11:30am-12:30pm and 3:30-4:30pm. James has published a range of books, the latest one being ?James Wong?s Homegrown Revolution? where James proves that growing fruit and vegetables at home can be both easy and fun.
