Garden4Less to boost garden retail sector

Garden internet retailer is opening its website up for all garden centres and pet stores to sell online through their website.

After a successful 12 month trial period of allowing a select number of merchants to sell through, they have made the decision to open the site up for all garden centres and pet stores to list their products for sale through the website.

Garden4less managing director Robert Osborne said:?”We see this as a win-win scenario for both garden4less and the garden centres. It will expand the range of products available for over half a million of our customers whilst giving garden centres a new channel to retail their products through, with commission charges significantly cheaper than the amazon market place.”

The 12 month trial of 30 merchant partners saw the product range available through garden4less grow by over 3,000 new products, this pushed the overall products listing to over 10,000 skus for the first time in their 10 years of trading online.

The trial has shown that a wide array of merchant products have sold well, from pet toys and small hand tools through to high end garden furniture sets. With a target of achieving 20,000 garden and outdoor product available to purchase by the end of 2015, it will give customers a central place to purchase all their outdoor products on one site in a single transaction from multiple retailers.

Retailers wishing to enquire about becoming an online partner with garden4less should contact them via email at or call the merchant team on 01283 543974.
