GCA conference: More sponsors

Bord na M?na and Hozelock have signed up as secondary sponsors for The Garden Centre Association?s (GCA) annual conference taking place in January next year.

The two companies join Davidson Richards and Westland Horticulture, which are the headline sponsors for the event.

Iain Wylie, Chief Executive of the GCA, said: ?It?s wonderful having such well-known brands and names associated with our conference, which is fast becoming the best event of the gardening year when it comes to getting together with likeminded industry-folk.

?There are still a few remaining slots for suppliers to snap up so if you?re interested in being involved with the event, please do get in touch with me.?

Bord na M?na from Ireland sells environmentally friendly composts, mulches and natural fertilisers including the Vital Earth and GroWise ranges of composts.

Hozelock offers retailers and consumers a comprehensive range of garden watering equipment and pressure sprayers and pond equipment and high pressure cleaners.

The conference takes place at the Hilton Blackpool Hotel in Blackpool from January 26 for three days.

Iain added: ?Sponsors will have access to more than 300 delegates from the nation?s leading garden centres, including independents and chains, in a relaxed and friendly environment, over lunch, dinner or in a lecture theatre.

?We would love to hear from any businesses that are interested in sponsoring aspects of our conference. There are a small number of packages still available that we can offer interested parties.?

More than 300 delegates are expected to attend the annual GCA Conference.

Iain continued: ?As always our conference will provide attendees with pertinent information on key aspects of the garden centre industry to assist members in achieving their business goals.

?The information shared will focus on a wide range of topics, including merchandising, marketing and management.?

The GCA represents nearly 200 garden centres nationwide.

Through sharing information and its inspection programme the GCA helps members to achieve high standards in customer service, plant quality and reliability.

The GCA annual conference will take place from January 26 until 29, 2014 at the Hilton Blackpool Hotel.
