Get into high spirits at Frosts

Don’t let the ghosts spook you in Milton Keynes this Halloween. Make sure you get out and about and enjoy some of the many events taking place in the coming weeks.?

Frosts Garden Centre at Woburn Sands has plenty of fun lined up.

The House Of Hocus Pocus takes place from Saturday October 25 to Friday October 31.

The garden centre has a wizard to guide you and your family through its fun Halloween experience.

The centre says: “Our wizard will meet you at the start of the session, and guide you through the adventure.

“Enter our first room where all the children will get to dunk their very own apple in chocolate, and then cover it in yummy sprinkles!

“Next it?s into the pumpkin room where each child will get to carve their own pumpkin that they can take home with a battery tea light.

“Our wizard will then guide you through into our story room where he will read a fun tale whilst the children enjoy a sweet treat.

“This experience is suitable for all ages and lasts approximately 50 minutes. All children must be accompanied by an adult.”

It costs ?9.99 per child and ?1.99 per adult.

Between Saturday 25 and Friday 31, sessions will take place at 10.30am, 11.30am, 1.30pm, 2.30pm, 3.30pm, or 4.30pm (there is also a 5.30pm session on Friday 31).

The venue is also holding a Halloween Circus, ?6.99 per person, between Saturday 25h and Friday 31. Shows are at 10.30am, 12.30pm, 2.30pm & 4.30pm.

It’s Trick and Treat week at Gulliver?s between?October 26 to the 31.

There will be Halloween activities for the whole family to enjoy and depending on how brave you?re feeling, there are also fabulously freaky experiences!

Children will be amazed to see that even some of their favourite rides have received a Halloween makeover.

The Parks Trust Milton Keynes is staging a special Tricks and Treats event at Shenley Wood between 10am-noon on October 28.

It costs ?3, booking is essential and fancy dress is welcomed.

The Parks Trust is also holding a number of special spooky walks between 6-9pm on October 31 at Campbell Park Pavilion.

The walks are not suitable for very young children and last between 15-20 minutes.

The trust says walks get progressively scarier as the evening progresses; therefore walks after 7pm are not suitable for very young children. ?4 per person.

At the?Snozone there’s a Halloween Spooktacular with monstrous arts and crafts in the restaurant area; Wednesday, October 29 – go in freaky fancy dress; Thursday, October 30 Spooky Sledging and thrilling tricks at the Halloween-themed freestyle park; Friday, October 31 free reptile roadshow in the Snolounge where you can meet creepy crawlies up close and personal plus spooky sledging and face painting.

Meanwhile, Release returns for another night of Drum and Bass at Vogue Bar in Bedford on October 31. Doors are 11pm-4am with last entry at 1pm. Entry is ?5.
