Pre-orders of Bord na M?na Growise have put the company 35% ahead of sales target for the coming spring season, according to the company. Growise is a new single brand of ?peat-based to peat-free? growing media and soil improver, which were launched at GLEE.
Speaking of the sales success so far, Bord na Mona?s Jason Pike said: ?GLEE was very good for us, with more than three weeks of sales volume achieved in just three days. ?We are well ahead year-on-year for branded product and up on our own targets.
?We anticipated a great take up on the new range and we are in the process of doubling the capacity of our UK stock holding in readiness. It is great to have our projections confirmed so positively.?
The new range combines ?distinctive colour-coded packaging? with new POS boards, literature and websites.
Pike continued: ?The investment that has gone into the new brand is all about ensuring that the garden retail customer is well supported on and off line, in media and at point of sale.
