Zest 4 Leisure, a leading trade supplier of quality timber garden products, is celebrating its 5th consecutive year at GLEE with a good news story for customers.

Zest?s new range of products for 2018, the announcement of its recent warehouse and distribution centre purchase, a new operations system and new HR director, means a bright outlook for the new garden leisure season.

The new centre, based in Saltney, North Wales, will provide further room to stock and store a wider range of Zest 4 Leisure items, allowing for the planned future expansion and strategic development of the family owned company.

Steve Morgan, managing director at Zest 4 Leisure, said: ?I am very proud of what we have been able to achieve?and the new purpose designed warehousing and distribution centre is certainly a very exciting opportunity for us as a company,? Mr Morgan said.

?It will mean that we can broaden our offering and supply garden centres, e commerce retailers and major purchasing groups in line with our strategic development plans.?

The addition of the new operations system means integrating all aspects of Zest 4 Leisure, allowing for improved efficiencies and future growth in product development, range and stock holding.

The announcement of Hazel Bainbridge as HR Director shows Zest?s focus on employees and staff development. New positions will be created in the company and existing employees will benefit from further development ? all part of the plan to make Zest 4 Leisure the ?Employer of Choice?.

The growth and development plans to increase range and product innovation is further fueled by Zest?s partnership with Cardiff Metropolitan University in creating the new graduate product development role.

Luke Roberts recently joined the New Product Development team and will work with them on products and ranges to help answer the future needs of the garden leisure industry. Working alongside Cardiff and their ?Fab Lab? it means new innovative products can be prototyped and tested as part of the New Product Development process.

Mr Morgan said: ?Zest 4 Leisure strives to bring innovation to the core of every product and we have really seen this come through in 2018?s new range.

?Working alongside Cardiff Metropolitan University, it will enable us to monitor and develop future trends and initiatives and we expect our innovation offering to go from strength to strength and our 2019 products to be even more cutting-edge and on-trend.?

Further investment in product suppliers will enable Zest?s growth, supporting the development of the company.
