Solus brand event: Great turn-out!

Solus Garden and Leisure recently held a very successful first ?Grow With Solus? customer event at the company?s Droitwich facility, with more than?350 retail customers attending.

This customer event complemented the launch of the company?s new garden living brand, Garden Nation. It also featured the revamping of the Droitwich showroom in order to accentuate their own key new products and promote the company?s important third party brands?including Scotts Miracle-Gro, Cuprinol, Fiskars and Bayer and its water gardening brand, Bermuda.

The event was held over five days, during which customers were introduced to the new Garden Nation brand of stylish and contemporary garden living products. We saw the new, stronger garden tool branding and product improvements for Yeoman, as well as meeting many new members of the Solus sales, marketing and category team.

Solus MD Nick Davies said ?We?re delighted with the success of ?Grow with Solus’. Customers old and new were really excited about the potential of Garden Nation for their business and love the thinking behind this new brand. We?re looking forward to working with retailers over the next few months to bring these new products to the consumer.”

He went on to say that ?Our revamped showroom also received a lot of very positive comments and we were really pleased to be able to welcome so many customers and share our products and ideas.?

Ian Hodgett from Hayes Garden World in Ambleside, Cumbria, echoed the response of many fellow Solus customers:

?We?re really looking forward to the season ahead and selling Garden Nation. We see the new brand as a more attractive product range, well presented for the consumer and with attractive packaging. It?s a welcome change of direction from Solus ? they have researched the consumer and designed a garden living range to suit a wide audience group.?
