Hortus Loci, the multi-award winning wholesale nursery, is launching a plant lover?s paradise in Hook this Good Friday. The Plant Centre at Hortus Loci will open its doors to the public at 9.30am on Friday 14th April for a weekend packed full of exclusive special offers.

The Plant Centre, owned by Hortus Loci founder, Mark Straver, will provide the very best perennials, shrubs and trees and a comprehensive range of garden essentials, alongside expert advice with personal service. The Plant Centre team are all experienced, highly trained, knowledgeable gardeners who will be on hand to answer questions, give recommendations or just a helping hand to the car.

Mark commented: ?The clocks have gone forward, the sun has been shining and it finally feels that Spring has sprung! We can?t wait to open our doors to the public on Good Friday and showcase what we?ve got to offer. There?s over 4,000 plants to choose from ? from brand new varieties to firm favourites and you can be amongst the first to sign up for our Chelsea Flower Show preview visits ? be the first to get a sneak peek of what we think are the real stars of the greatest flower show on earth.?

Once the plants have been purchased, there?s an artisan coffee house and kitchen on site; The HOBO.CO In The Shed, that will keep customers extremely well fed and watered with their mouth-watering menu of freshly prepared dishes. Customers will drink or dine al fresco surrounded by a feast of florals in a specially designed seating area.

Over the long weekend there will be exclusive launch discounts so customers can fill any holes that have appeared in their borders, get a head start on hanging baskets or have some fun with the family by taking part in the Easter Egg hunt.

To celebrate its launch, The Plant Centre will host a series of pop-up events to suit the whole family over the next few months. Choose from the ?Little Growers Club? on Saturdays for budding gardeners to the more knowledgeable ?Top Tips for Planting in Shade?.

The Plant Centre Launch Weekend is from 14th Friday April until Monday 17th April, opening times are 9am ? 5.30pm.
