Johnsons Lawn Seed to attend IPM Essen

by | Jan 26, 2016 | News | 0 comments

Johnsons Lawn Seed will join its parent company, DLF, and its European and Russian brand partners at the world?s leading horticultural trade event, IPM Essen (26th ? 29th January, Messe Essen, Dusseldorf). Together the brands will showcase the strongest portfolio of lawn seed products available to retailers across Europe, as well as demonstrating their commitment to helping retailers maximise year-round sales.

Together the brand portfolio will be using its time at IPM Essen to demonstrate its market-leading consumer offering. New products launching at show will be available across Europe, and are to include the latest addition to the TurfLine range, ?2016?. Offering the same lawn seed mix as used in stadia across France ahead of the tournament this June, ?2016? also enables retailers to make the most of the football frenzy being whipped up ahead of the UEFA Euro Football Finals.

The Johnsons Lawn Seed bestselling General Purpose, Tuffgrass, Quick Fix and Quick Lawn products will also be available to view, including the new formula as launched to the market at Glee 2015. Set to stimulate further profit growth for retailers in 2016, the mixtures have all been improved to ensure quicker germination and establishment in lower temperatures. The newly formulated bestsellers also now have a higher tolerance to drought, are designed to develop greener lawns, and require less fertiliser and watering than standard grasses.

Seedbooster, a new fertiliser based coating for lawn seed, will also continue its wider European launch. This new coating has been designed to improve the speed of establishment, meaning thicker, denser lawns can be achieved in a much quicker time.

Johnsons Lawn Seed?s consumer manager Guy Jenkins said: ?We?re pleased to confirm our attendance at IPM Essen alongside our parent company and European brands. The exhibition is the perfect place to demonstrate the strength of our combined offering across all of Europe for both pan-European retailers, as well as for those retailers which operate in a single country, whether as an independent retailer or as part of a bigger retail chain. We look forward to speaking with a wide range of retail customers to discuss how we can help them to profit from lawn seed sales.

?I?ve no doubt that our new products launching at the show will be a big draw for any retailers wanting to offer something a little different, whilst continuing to deliver the highest quality lawn seed products possible.?
