Katie Rushworth

TV gardener Katie Rushworth will return to Tong to open her garden and outdoor living space.

The Love Your Garden co-presenter will open the show garden. It’s been brought to life by Katie and Tong’s team of gardening experts at 11am on Saturday, 18th May.

The tropical garden features planted areas, an outside kitchen and a place to relax.

It’s there to give new ideas for planting in creative combinations. It’s also there to inspire ways to style an outdoor space.

Katie’s delighted with the look and feel of the new garden.

“We should decorate our gardens in exactly the same way we dress our homes. We should make them a wonderful, personal and homely space to enjoy whatever the occasion.

“Colour comes from the plants I’ve chosen to decorate my latest show garden at Tong. As always, I love to zone spaces so we can get the most out of our plots!

“”My outdoor dining area is so achievable but it’s the kitchen island I love. Set against a backdrop of herbs and other tasty edibles, this is a fantastic way to cook outdoors!”

Tong’s Marketing Manager, Jo Dales is also delighted. “Katie’s garden has been a huge success and source of inspiration over the last two years.

“Customers often ask about plants, the design and the seasonality of the garden.

The new garden is there to reflect the way we are using our garden as an outside room.”

The garden and outdoor living area will refresh as the seasons change. Katie will update with ways she knows people can achieve in their own gardens.

Throughout the year, Katie will also be on hand to lend her expertise for a series of videos.
