Garden centres have reported some really positive sales growth in the aggregates category this spring and Antony Harker at Kelkay believes that this is partly driven by the exciting developments in product, packaging and merchandising his business has driven through for 2017.
Whilst Antony is pleased with sales of all bagged aggregates, it is the smaller pack formats, including the newly launched Pot Toppers that have seen the most significant and exciting sales growth this year.

?We have seen sales of our Handy pack bag format grow by over 200% this year, thanks partly to the introduction of the exciting new ?RockinColour? shades which have been so well accepted by consumers and now account for a significant proportion of all small bag sales” Anthony commented: “The fact that we?ve supplied 500 special merchandising units to support the launch and development of this new category has also helped our customers achieve some fantastic growth. It?s a good example of how we want to continue to develop Kelkay ? innovating and developing new ideas that support our garden centre partners and really help to grow their ?business?

The commercial team at Kelkay are already working ?full steam ahead? on the new products and innovations for next season and they?ll be announcing their 2018 new product development plans and a host of other exciting developments designed to drive the hard landscape category at GLEE NEC Birmingham (Hall 19 A10 ? C11 & A20 ? C21) 11 ? 13 September 201
