KSPL Holding takes over Thermoflor Construct BV

KSPL Holding, the parent company of, among others, the companies and brands Deforche, Deforche Construct and Forzon has reached agreement with the curator of the Grimbergen Group, which went bankrupt on October 2nd, about a restart of Thermoflor, Thermoflor Building and Services and Bright Buildings.

Before the bankruptcy the Grimbergen Group had 4 business units:

Thermoflor BVRealisation of projects (Sales, Design en Engineering)
Grimbergen Constructions BVProduction of steel and aluminium
Thermoflor Building and Services BVConstruction and service of projects
Bright Buildings BVOther daylight buildings

with offices in Heerlen and Wateringen. It is the intention of the new owner to continue with 3 of the 4 departments, to keep the employment of as many employees as possible and to maintain the local anchoring.

From now on these 3 departments will operate under the company name Thermoflor Construct BV. Grimbergen Constructions BV in Heerlen is not taken over.

The production of Thermoflor Construct BV will be centralized within the KSPL holding company. The market name will remain Thermoflor.

Curator Scholtes: “An agreement has been concluded with the new owner about stock, inventory, intellectual property and all current contracts. I am very pleased that we were able to make a new start.”

Steven Deforche, director of KSPL holding company: “The acquisition of Thermoflor is a nice addition for us on the Dutch, German and Scandinavian market as well as in the United Kingdom.

“The intention is to further develop and expand these markets under the name Thermoflor. We also see good opportunities for synergy between our various companies within the holding company.?

The restart of Thermoflor is not only good news for employees and suppliers, but also for Thermoflor customers all over the world.

Thermoflor Construct BV continues to operate from the same location in Heerlen.
