Learn, network & discover sustainable products at Natural & Organic Products Europe

by | Mar 20, 2023 | Community, News | 0 comments

With the show just a month away, retailers across the nation are preparing their visit to Natural & Organic Products Europe – the unmissable trade event for natural, organic and sustainable products.

Returning to London ExCeL on 16-17 April, the show will connect thousands of brands with retailers, buyers, wholesalers and distributors who stock a range of garden centres around the country. It’s a chance to be part of a growing community and discover the latest natural, organic food, drink and health innovations across five exciting areas: Natural Food, Natural Health, Natural Beauty & Spa, Eco-Living and Vegan World.

Carol Dunning comments: “Natural & Organic Products Europe is more than just a trade show, it’s a movement. It’s a community made up of inspiring people working hard to put ethical and sustainable products on shelves.  With a cost-of-living crisis to contend with, it’s even more important for brands to establish the value of their products to customers, and for retailers to help drive this demand with an all-important visit to the show. Change starts here!”

From organic deli to plant-based snacks, artisan foods to eco lifestyle products – every trend is covered at the show. See the bestsellers and latest ranges from Raw Living, Suma Wholefoods, Dove’s Farm Foods, Biogroupe, NKD Living, Nutland, Brand Organic – and others. A few new products to explore include; Wrappy’s reusable wax-based wraps; Reused Remade’s selection of beauty accessories made of 100% upcycled hotel textiles; Earthbound’s mew ‘All-in-One’ bar (suitable for hair, body, shaving, laundry, and dishes); Mini Drops natural vitamin E and coconut oil spray; Sip and Smile herbal teas; Sunny Fruits range of organic dried fruit; and much more.

Independent Day

Since 1997, the show has been passionately supporting independent retailers but this year, Natural & Organic Products Europe has launched a new initiative helping to celebrate and reward the work that Independents do across the country. Sunday 16th April (the first day of the show) will be known as ‘Independent Day’ and will give Independents a carefully curated seminar programme with retail experts, discounted travel to the show, a drinks reception, 1-2-1 expert advice and more.

What’s on?

Visitors should stop by the two innovation zones to see the latest launches and vote for their favourite products to win in the Natural & Organic Innovation Awards. They can also discover SMEs and start-ups in the NEW ‘Launchpad Zone’ and try worldly flavours on pavilions from US, Canada, Italy, Greece, Turkey and Thailand. Lastly, the best certified organic products (from the UK) will once again be on the Soil Association Certification pavilion.

The ever popular and dynamic Pitch to the Buyer LIVE with Holland & Barrett is back. Five buyers from Holland & Barrett will participate in live product pitches from hand-selected exhibitors from every category – food, beverage, VHMS and beauty.

Natural & Organic Products Europe will also play host to an exciting free-to-attend seminar programme. Here, a range of expert speakers will take to the stage to discuss topics around trends, opportunities and challenges in the industry – with a firm focus on retail and sustainability.

Managing Director of the Conran Design Group, David Worthington will cover how independent retailers can take advantage of design and branding and how they can apply it to their own stores. Areas covered will include shop frontage, windows and layouts, and instore and online communications – essential for the smaller operator to face up to larger competitors.

Award winning business mentor and consultant Karen Green will discuss 7 easy ways to bring in new customers and encourage existing ones to buy more on every visit and keep them coming back for more.  From keeping on top of new trends, optimising the hybrid online/instore opportunity to collaborating with other local businesses.

‘Health Check’ is back with its annual food retailing survey, as Natural Products News (NPN) seeks to find out how independent retailers have fared during the past year, providing important insights and a snapshot of the industry.

This is only a handful of talks to see across the two days. For the full seminar programme, please visit www.naturalproducts.co.uk/seminars-main.

Natural & Organic Products Europe will return to ExCeL London on 16-17 April 2023.
