National Plant Show 2021 postponed

The HTA has announced that this year’s National Plant Show will not happen but will instead come back next year, bigger and better than ever.

Following the Prime Minister’s Roadmap, the HTA has continually reviewed government advice and guidance to assess the feasibility of running the 2021 National Plant Show and after much deliberation, it has decided it will not be able to run the show this year.

The HTA says: “Having considered the many factors that are essential to running a safe and successful exhibition, on a date that enables the show to deliver its purpose, we have concluded that we are not able to meet the brief.

“Instead, following the success of last year’s Virtual New Plant Awards, we will again provide our members with the opportunity to showcase new plants in this way in June 2021, and work towards planning our biggest and best National Plant Show for its return in 2022.”
