Squire’s Garden Centre

Squire’s Garden Centre on Heathlands Road in Wokingham is to open a new look Café Bar and enhanced Food Hall containing a butcher and a bakery in November.

The Café Bar will have a brand new kitchen allowing a wider range of dishes to be prepared, plus there will be a pizza oven – which is sure to be very popular. The seating area will have a stylish new look and offer a choice of air-conditioned seating areas inside, plus a new outside terrace for outdoor dining.

Squire’s Food Hall will be extended and beautifully updated, offering customers a huge amount of choice, from store cupboard essentials and fresh fruit and vegetables, to goodies such as delicious cakes and biscuits, as well as local beers, wines and spirits. The focus will still be very much on local produce, with many products sourced from suppliers across Berkshire, Surrey and Hampshire.

The Food Hall will also feature a butcher’s and a bakery. JL Butchers is moving from their current shop in West Byfleet to be located at Squire’s. They were voted ‘Butchers shop of the year’ in the Surrey Life Food & Drink Awards 2019 and are known for their top-quality British meat and great customer service. Cavan Bakery is also coming to Squire’s, and will offer delicious baked goods such as artisan breads, croissants, pastries, cakes, savoury pies and sausage rolls.

Sarah Squire, Chairman of Squire’s Garden Centres commented; “I am very excited that we shall shortly be launching our new look Café Bar and enhanced Food Hall. Supporting local suppliers has been part of our philosophy for more than 85 years, so I am very pleased to welcome Cavan Bakery and award-winning JL Butchers to Squire’s. I also can’t wait for customers to come and enjoy our new Café Bar, which will be a great place for the local community to meet and enjoy delicious food and drink.”
