New manager appointed at Stewarts restaurant

Stewarts Garden Centre Restaurant and Coffee shop at Broomhill, near Wimborne has a new catering manager.? With 37 years? experience, Howard Arnold from Verwood has the responsibility for the popular restaurant.? He was recently the assistant manager at Drusilla’s Inn, having worked at Bournemouth and Southampton Airports.? His catering career started on Passenger Liners.

Welcoming Howard to the centre, Terry Head, retail and marketing director, said that Howard?s brief is to maintain the consistency and quality of the service and menu at the award winning centre.

?Our catering is enhanced by the fact that we have our own cattle on nearby land which offers a trustworthy source of meat for our regular customers,? said Terry.? ?Howard will find our 125 seat restaurant and coffee shop a simpler to manage operation than that of some of the transport related venues his experience covers!?

The award winning Stewarts Garden Centres is a long established family owned business that still keeps its roots secured deep in horticulture.? A large percentage (11%) of the plants sold by the centres are cultivated at their Nursery based at Broomhill. Other garden centres are also supplied by the growers that were established in 1742.? The business also provides a full exterior landscaping service and also plants to offices and public areas across Southern England through its division at Broomhill.
