Haskins Hires David Lilley to run Snowhill centre

Haskins Snowhill Garden Centre, near East Grinstead, has appointed a new general manager in David Lilly.

Lilly has over 33 years? experience in retail having started with Sainsburys, and has also been manager at several Homebase stores.

Lilly will be working with 89 full and part time staff?at the store and he admits although his horticultural knowledge is basic, his love of gardening ensures a natural interest.

Julian Winfield – chief executive of the ?31 million turnover Haskins Garden Centres group expressed his delight at the new appointment.

?David has both the experience and the integrity to ensure that we maintain high standards of service at Snowhill, a centre we have owned since 2003. We are delighted to welcome him to the management team.?

The centre plans to continue to support charitable events throughout the year including Re-Leaf Day from the Greenfingers? appeal which designs and creates gardens for children?s Hospices across the UK.
