New plants for Essen

by | Jan 20, 2016 | Products | 0 comments

New Plant has announced that it will introduce five new pericallis varieties and two new poinsettia varieties at IPM in Essen. The five new pericallis come in various colours and together they form the Senetti Fives. The two new poinsettias are an addition to the Princettia line. All introductions are characterized by a compact growth habit.

The Senetti Fives have a naturally compact growth habit and come in a variety of colours, including pink, blue, red, magenta and violet. Senetti Magic Salmon, the pink variety, has pink flowers with a soft purple lining that has never been seen before on a pericallis variety.

The Princettia line features naturally compact poinsettia hybrids in a wide range of colours. Pure White and Indian Red are its newest additions. The plants can be used indoors, as well as outdoors. Pure White is an early bloomer and has a bright white colour. Indian Red has a deep burgundy like colour. The Princettia poinsettias have wide branching and they produce many flowers without pinching.

Essen is the site of one of the biggest plant shows in Europe. It takes place from the 26th to 29th of January.
