The Range’s new store, including?a large furniture and arts & crafts department as well as a family caf? and a large outdoor garden centre opened on Friday 14th October in Ballymena.

Being the first Range superstore in Northern Ireland, customers were bursting with excitement to get into their new store. The launch took place this morning and the store was officially opened by Deputy Mayor of Mid & East Antrim, Ald. William McNeilly. Spirits were high and the ribbon cutting was met with smiles and applause.

The Range was delighted to welcome a huge queue of eager customers who could not wait to discover the variety of products that The Range has to offer. Once open, shoppers packed into the store?s 16 departments, to explore the exciting displays and take advantage of the store opening offers; be sure to visit before the 30th October to grab yourself some great?bargains.

Friendly staff were joined by Captain Range, the company?s own mascot, to assist customers during their visit to the new store. The Range offered giveaways to the first 50 people in the queue, including a fantastic Lay-Z-Spa Paris worth ?599 for the first person in line.

Devon-based entrepreneur, Chris Dawson, the owner and founder of The Range commented on the opening: ?It was fantastic to have such a big crowd turn up to celebrate the opening this morning. Every store opening is exciting for the company but as this one is?the first in Northern Ireland it is an even bigger event as it is the next step in the company?s expansion plans. I would like to thank the council for being so supportive in the run up to this opening and wish our customers every enjoyment in their new store?.
