Notcutts appoints Sarah Silverwood as new trading director

Family-owned garden centre group, Notcutts, has announced the appointment of Sarah Silverwood as trading director.

Sarah has been acting as interim commercial director at Notcutts since May 2017 and has a wealth of past experience in trading and commercial roles, having previously fulfilled roles with bed manufacturer Dreams, Wyevale Garden Centres, Home furnishing company Habitat, DIY centre Homebase and Argos.

Commenting on the appointment, Nick Burrows, CEO said: ?During her time on the team as interim commercial director, Sarah has already brought strong leadership and vision to our trading operations and forward strategy. Sarah has become a valued member of our executive team and her knowledge and expertise adds a great new ingredient in supporting Notcutts as a business through our five-year development strategy.?
