Perennial team will be joined at Four Oaks by NHS ‘Heart Heroes’ volunteers

Perennial is the UK’s only charity dedicated to helping everyone who works in horticulture, and their families, when times get tough. We provide free and confidential advice and support.  Perennial’s friendly, experienced, and professional team of caseworkers and debt advisers help individuals and their families as they deal with life-changing events such as serious injury, long-term illness, family bereavement, redundancy or family breakdown.

As part of Know Your Numbers Week 2022, the Perennial team will be joined at Four Oaks by NHS ‘Heart Heroes’ volunteers. Please come along to stand E251 and get your blood pressure checked – it’s free, simple and might just save your life.”

Christina Walker from Four Oaks is happy to say, ‘We’re delighted to give a platform to the great work Perennial undertakes, supporting horticulture workers across the sector. This year, Perennial staff are offering a blood pressure checking service with NHS Heart Heroes and providing answers to a wide range of matters affecting workers through Helen Waddington’s Q&A session on Wednesday 7th at 11am. I urge everyone to take advantage of these free opportunities to give some attention to their own care and protection, something all too often neglected when people are working so hard.’
