On Tuesday 27th June, GLEE – the UK’s leading garden and outdoor living trade show, announced the winners of this year’s ‘Buyers Power List’. The awards are a celebration of the positive impact retailers make in the garden centre industry and recognise the outstanding talent of buyers and their influence in the market.

Perrywood Garden Centre buyers were delighted to have been placed in the following categories; 1st place for Home & Gifts and Christmas, 2nd place for Food & Drink and Garden Care and our Plant buyer was awarded 3rd place. Perrywood achieved 2nd place for the Overall Independent Garden Centre Buying Team of the Year!

The famous trade show takes place at the NEC, Birmingham. Contenders were nominated by other GLEE attendees and a panel of judges announced the results live at the show.

Simon Bourne, Retail Director, comments, “We are thrilled to be winners. Our buying team are extremely dedicated to keeping the garden centre fully stocked with superior quality plants, giftware, gardening essentials and seasonal products all year round.

We are very proud of their hard work; they are a key part of our business and the unique range of products they source keep our valuable customers coming back time and time again!”
