Perrywood Tiptree nominated for FreeFrom awards

Perrywood Tiptree has been shortlisted in the 2018 FreeFrom Eating Out Awards.
The garden centre is home to an award-winning Coffee Shop serving everything from hot lunches to scones and cakes. All found on the Coffee Shop?s designed ?free from? menu.
The FreeFrom Eating Out awards recognise the best ?free from? eateries in the UK from quirky beach hut cafes to five-star restaurants.
Perrywood is one of only seven shortlisted for the FreeFrom ?Newbies? award in the UK.
As part of the awards process, an expert judge will visit Perrywood and will share a report on the free from offering.
The report is based on the eatery?s understanding of how to cater safely for those with food allergies. As well as the ability to provide guests with exciting, innovative and delicious food.
This food should rival, if not excel, its ‘normal’ offer. Chosen winners will then receive a gold, silver or bronze award.
The 2018 FreeFrom Eating Out Awards will take place at Food Matters Live on 20 November. This is when they announce the winner.
Hannah Powell of Perrywood comments: ?As a business, we are extremely passionate about catering for everybody.
“Our food offering is something that we are very proud of. Particularly our free from menu. To get recognition for this is a fantastic achievement.?
?We offer our customers four menus to choose from including the main menu, the free from menu, a children?s menu and a vegan specials menu.
“It’s important that our offering is inclusive for everyone which is why we have worked so hard to deliver this in our Coffee Shop.?
