On Thursday 15 May The Greats Gifts Retailer Awards 2018 were held at the Grosvenor House Ballroom, London.? It was a glittering occasion attended by over 400 retailers and gift suppliers.

Ransoms Garden Centre were one of six finalists in the Best Garden Centre Retailer of Gifts category and were represented on the day by Katherine Ransom, joint managing director and Anna Bryant, Buyer.

The other finalists were Hawley Garden Centre, Whitehall Garden Centre, Frosts Group, Cannon Hall Garden Centre and Caulders ? all very strong competition but on the day Ransoms Garden Centre took home the (large, very heavy) award.

Ransoms is a family business and recognises the importance of the contribution of the whole team ? the buyers, visual display, shop floor, tills, warehouse, admin and management ? a great achievement at The Greats as commented Ian Hyder, joint managing director of Max Publishing which own and organises The Greats ?The winners of The Greats 2018 reflected the enormous diversity and vibrancy within the ?gift retailing arena, celebrating those who have shown entrepreneurial flair and responded magnificently to the changing retailing landscape.?
