Record breaking sales month in garden centres for GARDENA

by | Apr 6, 2021 | Promotions | 0 comments

Despite garden centres still being closed in some areas in the UK, March 2021 has been a record breaking sales month for GARDENA. Sales are up 100% vs last season, with no sign of slowing down.

As the weather starts to warm up, UK gardeners have been taking to their green spaces in an attempt to occupy their time while remaining on lockdown restrictions. Over the past year, gardens have played a vital role in people’s lives, as an outlet for stress relief, grow your own and entertainment. This has been reflected in the growth that the brand has seen over Summer 2020, and the upcoming season looks to be much of the same.

GARDENA UK country manager, Howard Scott says: “Garden centres continue to remain a key focus channel for GARDENA this season, which is reflected in the service and stock levels, impactful instore displays and great consumer offers.

“This season we are bringing over 50 innovations to the market, but continue to focus on our core watering and tools categories, which are showing significant growth year on year.”
