Roundup displays ‘pimped up’ by retailers

Roundup has announced Goonhavern Garden Centre, Truro and Waterside Garden Centre in Peterborough as the two winners of the first round of its 2015 Pimp up your Roundup competition.
Pimp up your Roundup is a three-month promotion that, according to the company, ?challenges independent retailers to get creative when displaying Roundup in store?. It runs until the end of May, and carries a prize of ?6,000 in stock.
Speaking of the competition, Lawn and Garden UK business director Gary Philpotts said: ?Following a successful ?Pimp up? promotion in 2014 – where retailers commented on sales being boosted by 50% – it is not surprising that they have once again embraced the promotion.
?I?d like to thank those that have already entered for taking the time to pimp-up their displays ahead of the busy Easter period. Hopefully the winning entries will inspire other retailers to have a go to be in with a chance of winning free stock.?
The two winners from March will both receive the company’s Pump N Go Mini 2.5L x 64 unit display.
To enter, retailers should email a photo of their pimped-up display to pimpuproundup@roundup-garden.com before May 31st.
